Ronnie’s Story

Ronnie Faisst was born in Mays Landing, NJ. He grew up outside the church in a broken home. He always had a love for sports and was always a great athlete. At the age of 8, he got his first dirt bike and fell in love with the sport of motocross. A year later, he began racing and worked his way to the top of his class until he turned pro at the age of 18. Two years later, he would move across the county to California to be a part of pioneering a whole new sport called freestyle motocross. His career quickly took off and for the next 20 years, Ronnie travelled all around the world doing FMX shows and competing against the best riders in action sports. Ronnie competed at X Games 20 times, earning himself 4 bronze medals. His riding videos, alongside best friends Brian Deegan,  Jeremy “Twitch” Stenberg, and some others, would go on to create a world famous brand called Metal Mulisha that overtook the freestyle motocross world.  It looked like the high life, of fame, fortune, and fun, but something was still missing.

In the height of his career, a friend of Ronnie’s gave him a Bible. He began to read it and soon after fully gave his life to the Lord. His life has been radically transformed by the power of the Gospel, and spent the next 10 years trying to live it out and be a light in the midst of a dark world. He has recently retired from competing professionally and is now using the platform he build in his moto career to share the love of Jesus to this generation and see lives transformed by the power of the Gospel. He also loves giving back to the MX Industry so he started RFMX, Ronnie Faisst Motocross, which includes training schools, one on one coaching and merch to help pour into other riders. You can find out more about RFMX here.
